Seattle Children’s Hospital: 100 days, 100 reasons to give

Seattle Children's Hospital and children playingYou may only be someone in the world, but to someone else, you may be the world.”

Every day for the next 100 days, we’re going to write about a good reason to give to Seattle Children’s Hospital.  There are really far more reasons to give than we can count, but for the sake of our lone, long walker, we’re keeping at 100.  Today we will begin where it all starts with Seattle Children’s Hospital – their mission:

Our Mission:  We believe all children have unique needs and should grow up without illness or injury.  With the support of the community and through our spirit of inquiry, we will prevent, treat and eliminate pediatric disease.

Most parents will never have to experience bringing their child to a place like Children’s Hospital.  But can you imagine needing specialized pediatric care and not having a place like Seattle Children’s Hospital around?  Millions of children and their families have benefited from the outstanding care and quality that Seattle Children’s Hospital delivers.

You can help support Jack on his long walk home by helping Seattle Children’s Hospital fulfill their mission.  Give today or make a pledge, or share his story with three of your friends.
