Seattle Children's Hospital: 92 days, 100 reasons to give

Seattle Children's Hospital baby“The more serious the illness, the more important it is for you to fight back, mobilizing all your resources – spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical”.

–  Norman Cousins

Seattle Children’s Hospital has been using the da Vinci robot to assist with surgery and teaching since April 2006. The technology has benefits over conventional laparoscopic and traditional “open” surgery with reconstructive operations that require very intricate surgical techniques. Benefits include smaller incisions, minimal scarring, faster recovery and less operative dehydration and blood loss.

You can help support this and other leading edge technologies by making a donation and helping Jack on his long walk home today!
